Challenge
Problem: While there are travel planning apps and tools on the market, there are none that fully encompass the nuance and all aspects of travel in collaboration.Â
Vision: We envisioned a future where it's as easy for groups to collaborate on trips as it is to edit a Google Doc.

Approach
Conducted 15 interviews to refine the persona and develop product requirements.Â
User Persona:
1. Group Leader- Sarah Martinez, a 29 year old single woman who is an experienced traveler that wants a unified experience to coordinate a trip with her friends.
2. Follower- Andrew Smith, a 28 year old single man, who is excited to tag along on the trip, but is too busy with work.
User Journey Map
For the MVP, I created two user flows with a distinct set of features to serve each persona:
1. Creating a collaborative itinerary
2. Adding activities to the itinerary

I focused on these two tasks because they address the core needs of each persona and the primary problem identified in my research: making group trip planning more collaborative.
Creating a collaborative itinerary supports the organizer by providing a shared space to plan the trip, while adding activities enables group members to contribute ideas and participate in the planning process. Together, these flows validate the MVP's core value of reducing organizer burden and encouraging collaboration.

Final Screens
After several iterations, I added polls and group chat because users expected these as core features for coordinating with a group. Without them, the app didn't provide enough value to justify switching.
